I own a 1988 Dodge Dakota PU. When I purchased this pickup, the tilt steering column U-joint was destroyed. I replace the entire column with a non-tilt column.
Problem: The old column had tilt, cruise and wiper delay, the replacement did not. Been trying to find the correct replacement column to install so that at least
the pickup would be sort of "original".
Anyone out there, here in the Forum, know where there is an exact replacement column, cruise, tilt and wiper delay, for a 1988 Dodge Dakota pickup?
I have recently found out that OEM replacement columns can cost at least $500-$600. My budget won't allow this.
