1992 Dodge Dakota 3.9L 2wd
So I have a 92 Dakota and I can’t figure out what the problem is. I’ve replaced all plugs and plug wires, brand new starter (the other one went out), idle sensor, distributor cap, and I just bought a throttle body to replace. The truck idles rough and very high. when you put it in gear, (reverse or drive) it stops idling so high and it’ll go somewhat when you let off the break, but if you even barely tap the gas it will instantly shut off. If you leaving it idling for like 5 or so minutes I’ll sometimes shut off then too. I can’t tell if there’s any lights on the dash because it doesn’t light up at all for some reason even when you turn the headlights on and the radio and air/heat don’t work. Nothing on the dash works. Can anyone help me out here on possible problems?
Edit: I changed the throttle body and now it wont crank. before it would crank right up, my next off day im gonna put the old one back on and see if it will crank then. it will turnover but not crank, sounds like its not getting enough power to turnover good enough.
