Default Need replacement Clip for Input Gear on NP231 Transmission

Workin on my 1988 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 doing a transmission rebuild. I was working on the transfer case with getting it apart when I accidentally bent the input gear's spring steel retaining clip and there was no fixing it. The closest thing that I could find that fit the dimensions of the space was on this website Torque King 4x4. I'm needing a quick replacement whether that be the correct part or something similar at rural king or tractor supply.

If it is a C clip or external retaining ring you can probably get one locally if you kept the bent one for comparison. Harbor Freight has c clip tools in a kit for a decent price to avoid this problem in future.

Well hell, thank you for the link. I didn't know what kind it was but now I know there Speared Ends External Retaining Ring. I'm needing a 2" OD and they have them at Harbor Freight. Do they have retaining rings like this in hardware stores like Ace Hardware, Rural King, Tractor Supply, etc.
