Default Tried to shift into gear, NO JOY !

Found the shift linkage crossbar without its bushing. Frame end.

Fabbed up a makeshift keeper from a 1/2in nut, tapped in an 8-32 machine screw, and used low-strength (Purple) to hopefully secure it. Will have to order some bushings; might as well order enough for all of them.
Safety first, Im not playing crunchy today!

This where its supposed to fit. The yellow on the right is the tranny shift lever.

To install, had left arm over the tranny crossmember holding screwdriver. Right hand was trying to hold nut and linkage together. Ill see how long this lasts.

It is working now.
