Default High performance disc brakes

I have a 1990 Dakota that I would like to install a larger high performance brake kit to. No one makes a kit for the 1990 dakota, but there are some kits available for newer models. What is the differance in newer Dakotas, and can these kits be adapted to a 1990?

Anything can be adapted with machining.

If you want direct bolt on then probably not. The geometry for the 97 up is totally different from the 96 back.

Yea thats rear only. As for the front, I know 97 up stuff wont just bolt up, it would require modification.
