I have been told that the 235/75 is too tall and will rub, the 235/70 is a better fit. However, from what I have seen it looks like rubbing is limited to full lock or possibly on severe bumps when you have close to full compression on the front suspension. I currently have a set of mismatched tires on mine. 75s in the rear, 70s in the front. Haven't gotten around to replacing them with a matched set yet, but will happen soon I hope. For my driving which is just around town, I think the 75s would be fine, especially if it results in decent savings. I found the same thing when I was looking for tires last year. Bigger selection and cheaper tires in the 75 series.

I had a set of 235/75r15's on my 88 2wd and they rubbed a lil bit when I turned but then I took a hammer to the bottom of the fender a lil bit and it never rubbed again.
but I noticed a big difference in power and gas milage so I went back to a smaller tire.
