djg0770, stantheman was talking about oil useage, not pressure. A common problem on the Magnum engines, particularly the 5.2/5.9, was bad plenum (intake) gaskets, which, as stantheman said, was characterized by oil consumption, and oil "wetness" at the bottom of the throttle body (if you looked down into it).

One customer at my shop has a 94 3.9 magnum dakota with over 480,000 miles on both the original motor and transmission! Another one had another 3.9 magnum dakota with over 350,000 until it got wrecked.
