91 ECU interchange

Does anyone know if the ECU's are interchangeable from auto to manual for the v-6's? I have a manual 2wd and can't find a replacement locally.....

Under 96 ecu are interchangeable with no problem ... except for the cruise control or the overdrive. because under those years, the ecu does'nt shift the tranny.
