hi all, this will be my first post on this forum. usually don't stray far from the allpar/daytona forums, but i gots a question not too many over there know much about....here goes
found a '90 dakota with a 5 spd & a blown engine not far from here for $500, & i just happen to have a freshly rebuilt '89 2.5 sitting 2 miles away in a friends garage. now i know the fwd/rwd/awd might make a differance, but despite the engine being in sideways on the fwd, would it not work in the dakota ? what about the computer ? i do have a computer for an 88 2.2 laying around somewhere that used to run the 89 2.5, but again, Im not even positive thats not what blew it up in the first place. well, any input would be greatly appriciated, thanks.
