Hello everyone, my first post, saying hi and asking for help with something.. Searched, and found nothing..

89 dodge dakota v6.

retrofitting a/c... Problem is I only found an adapter for high side. Tried every adapter at every auto parts store in town, none fit on my original low side fitting. Should be a standard fitting, and a standard retrofit adapter, but its NOT.

Any suggestions? thanks in advance...

take a pic and send it if you can i had this pro when i did mine and when i did my lebaron and i end up finding the part at auto zone but not for normal use

i can tell you this on my dakota it was a std one from auto zone but it points straight out a the front of the engine so you have to shut off the engine and pass the hose under the belt then you can start and fill it with r134a
