I have a 1990 dak 3.9. Does this year have a possi rear? Sometimes only one wheel will spin, but other times 2 will spin. Thanks.

 

I doubt it. Mine was like that, one wheel wonder. Sometimes the other spun, sometimes not. Only Posi back then was most likely in a 4x4 unless someone ordered the higher gear/posi for the 3.9. Otherwise it's just a stock one wheel 3.21

 

Oh yea, mine is 4x4 and it does it.

 

i've owned three dakotas(i'm 16) a 87 V6 i don't no if it did it never ran but i doubt it, i had a 4cyl 92 and it did the same but my new 92 5.2l both spin, what you and other 6 cyl and 4cyls have is a crappy limited slip i have a posi limited slip mine doesn't lock both up around corners but straight it does. if you get your VIN# and go to your local dealer they can give you all the info you need to know.
