Default Engine cut out at high rpm

I have a 96' 2wd with a 3.9L v6. I have a few mods done to it including the Jet stage 2 chip, 160 degree thermostat, k &N filter, and dual exaust. At WOT sometimes when it is fixin to shift it will sputter before it shifts. I almost feel like it is misfiring or running out of fuel. It does not do it all the time either. I could really use soem help with this b/c i am out of ideas. Thanks

Take some carb cleaner and spray the injectors. They may be clogged or getting there. In the tank stuff works, but not as well. I've used the carb cleaner into the injectors and it ran like new afterwards.
