where is oil pressure gauge

where can i find like the plug or some thign for it.
mine is being wakey it bounces around and cuts off an evrey thing else

any ideas or have you had the problem before

If it were me, I would just run a mechanical one. That way it's easier to fix/replace and you get the exact amount of pressure.

On my 3.9 the oil pressure sending unit is right near the distributor on the back of the engine, on the 4 banger it should be right near the oil filter. I would imagine that if you had a v8 it would be in he same spot as on the 3.9 engine. I know its right near the dist. I just cant remember which side. Ive only had them blow up and start leaking oil. Check the plug on the top if its being erratic. that used to happen in my one jeep I just took a pair of needle nose pliers and bent the **** stiking up in male end of the sensor that the plug goes onto. But be careful...they do break. Just a little tweek is all mine needed then no more erratic readings.
