On 1990 Dakotas were all the voltage regulators intergrated in the computor unit? If not, where were the regulators on modles with Bosh alternators?

After a little trouble work I'm lead to beleive that the regulator on my truck is bad and the alternator is good. Wasn't able to find any wiring problems.

I beleave those alternators have internal regulators
