Default RE: speaker question

Well first, the door speakers are 6.5" and the air vent at the rear of the door can easily be cut with a jig-saw to house 6X9's, the rear speakers are 5X7's which should stay the same. for a cheap price I replaced all my speakers with kenwood brand 6.5's, 6X9's, and 5X7's in the way I just told you. that will cost you about 60 bucks per set of speakers. I also went out and bought a cheap DUB edition 550 watt amp ($78) a 12" Sony Xplod 1200 Watt sub ($80) and a truckrider box ($55) You will have to move the seat forward one notch for the sub to fit behind the seat. to get the best sound you have to match the RMS wattage of all your speakers with the CD player and sub with the amp. The Max wattage doesnt mean to much. My 1200 watt sub only has 350 watts RMS and my 550 watt amp has 325 watts RMS. My CD player is 208 watts max 52X4, but only 20 watts RMS as well as all my speakers are 18 watts RMS. You might not find the exact same wattage for speakers and players, but get it close. You can blow speakers with too little power as well as too much. Hope this helps
