The wiper switch on my 89 dakota went. found a new one but having trouble intalling it. Not sure how to (or if I need to) remove the steering wheel cover. I removed the steering wheel and was able to remove the switch from its position on the column but I can't free it from the steering column because the size of the switch and the connector at the other end are too big for the holes. Also, any ideas how to remove the Stem from the switch? The delaer was absolutely no help.
