hey guys

I have a 89 dakota short bed standard cab 4x4 auto v6 with 285,000 miles.
I'd like to do a motor swap over christmas....
I either want to do a v8 magnum (318, or 360) or a v6 magnum.....
I want to make it a powerful truck....but being such a light truck, I imagine the v6 mag would do allright...but a v8 just sounds so nice...

what would be required for the switch? for the v8 mag, or v6 mag....

I really appreciate it!

I'd skip the V-6. I have it and its not exactly a power house.
A 5.2L will fit in there. Theres a lot of people that have wanted to / did swap out motors. (The most recent post on this is HERE)
A 5.9L would also be nice.
