Default Testing a fuel pump.

Is there a way to test your fuel pump to see if it is working or not?

yeah have a friend turn the key while you lisen through the fill neck "where the gas goes in" if you hear it its working but to that a few times wait like 5 to 10 seconds. if it arms by turning the key it works. the only other way is with a fuel presuer gauge that can be bought at the local part store and plug it in to your fuel rail and turn the key and then look up what your truck has to be. I have a 93 dakota with multi port injectors and the presure should be 31 psi.
