i need to remove the bed to get to the gas tank how do you remove the bed how many bolts, any tricks, and what not

 

on my 93 dokota there are 8 bolts 2 wire harness and the jack shaft for the spair tire. and eather unscrew the filler neck at the cap or un hook the 2 hoses at the tank. (fule neck at the cap is easyer. before unbolting bed remove tailgate. (easyer to move. box is some what heavy. around 200 pounds. may need anthor guy to help other wise 4 one on each corner. if you by your self try and jack it up and brace it out of the way. you need about 16 to 18 inches of room to get the pump out.

 

i have access to a lift what would you say is easer use the lift and go at it for below or bed off and from above
