where is the proportioning valve in my truck? And can i replace it myself? All I can find in my haynes manual is about the height sensing proportioning valve which it then goes on to say my vehicle doesn't have because i have anti lock brakes.

Thanx for the help! I talked to a guy this morning about my problem and he said try bleeding the front brakes to get the valve to open up in the back. i did so and to no avail. There is still no fluid getting to the back. Is my proportioning valve shot? I called my local auto parts store and they don't even stock the part because it's apparently so rare that it malfunctions they don't carry it. This is the $1 truck from hell. I say that now but I'll probably love it later!

replaced the master cylinder. Still can't get fluid to the back. i tried bleeding at the rear hydraulic valve and ended up breaking the nut off.[sm=headbang.gif][sm=headbang.gif] I think i'm gonna take it to a shop to get it fixed. Thanx for all the help though!!
