Here are the instructions:
Even though you don't have the 42RE (or any of the other transmissions listed, you have the 42RH, aka A500), the procedures are exactly the same, except step 4 in the front band should read 2-1/2 turns.
FYI, I have a copy of the 1990 service manual, so if you need something out of it, private message me, or make a new topic with the problem ya have.
