ive got a 89 v6 with 215,000 miles on it with no problems in the past. When i went to put it into gear the other day, i let off the brake and teh truck just cut off. i tried putting into all teh gears, D,1,2, etc. and nothing worked, it did the same thing everytime. im thinking the torque converter is locked up but if you have an knowledge of it please let me no. if you also have any segestions id liek them be4 i waste the 145 dollars for the converter for it to b somthing else. thnx
