I have a 96 i have had as an extra vehicle for about 2 yrs now....It has 161,996 on it...I love it....Today i loaded it with firewood and it drove like it wasn't even there. The truck is stick...it must have run alot of highway miles....You could eat off the engine and the clutch petal has almost no wear at all..not bad for a 10yr old truck. The paint is starting to go....I might just throw and cheap paint job on it and drive it a couple more years. I run into alot of people with over 125k on their Dakotas with the 3.9

I had an 89 dakota with 275,000 miles on it when I sold it. Stupid me. It was a 5spd 3.9 4x4 sport with the roll bars and the off road lights and everything was there and it all worked. The truck was in amazing shape for its age. I still see it running around from time to time.
