Brake Lights out. Turn signals work ,flashers work, I replace brake light switch checked any fuse or relay I could find (I might mention that my ABS light is on) Can't seam to make brake lights to work .Does any one have a clue to what i have missed? Thanks
Gain access to the stop lamp switch electrical connector (see attached picture for connector pin-outs): test for 12 volts at cavity 5.
If voltage is not present, insure all fuses (in both the fuse block and the power distribution center) are good.
If voltage is present, place a jumper wire between cavity 5 and cavity 2. Than, check your brake lights. If they are illuminated, than there is something wrong with your stop lamp switch. If they do not illuminate, there is a problem somewhere else.
Post the results of your test back.
