Default 96 side mirror(s) conversion to power mirrors

I'm new to this formum and to a '96 Dakota V6 2WD that I just inherited. The truck needs a bit of TLC but generally seems to be in good shape. One of the things that I really need to get fixed is both side mirrors. Both have been damaged and are no longer really functional. They are the black painted mirrors operated by the small remote arm from inside the cab (not power). I found some of the chrome mirrors off of a 94 but they are both power. My question is; How difficult would it be to hook up the power feature? If it's too much trouble then can I just hook these up as is and operate them manually?

Thank you!

Attached is a wiring diagram from the '96 service manual.
I would think, as long as you can get the chrome ones mounted, the wiring should go pretty easy. It might take some trial and error, but not too hard.
Let us know how it came out.

Thanks for the wiring diagram. Wouldn't I have to have a location on the door or dash for the controler portion of the unit? I think I need to look into some wrecking yards for the other parts of that assembly as the mirrors don't come with it and they are (obviously) not a part of the current setup. I'll let you know how this turns out.

Thanks again!
