I'm going to try a new ignition relay and see if it fixes my problem (truck wont start when cold w/out waiting 1-2 hours w/ key turned forward, I have a thread somewhere around here).

WHERE is the ignition relay located???

ignition relay is on the fenderwell drivers side by the firewall without knowing what year your truck is I cant give you a part # however if you go to www.autozone.com and check repair then component locations type in relay and then look for ignition relay it will give you a location and possibly a part # the relay for my 87 dak is GP SORENSON EL500

Swapped it out this morning, have determined that it is not the cause of my problem.

did you try your asd relay??

 

have you replaced the coil?
