heater controls
in the last little while, my heater has been quirky. the defroster works fine. but if i set it to the front vents. it goes into like, half front vent and half floor. so basically i cant get full heat out of my front vents only. anyone help me?

You probably either have a bad vacuum line, or one of the doors in the HVAC unit aren't engaging as they should.

on my 89, i had to take the panel off around the controls and lubricate some of the pivot points were the grease had hardened up on them. worked on mine as you could feel some binding sliding the heater ***** and the vents wouldnt fully engage.
