Default Transmission mount

Hello all. I have a 1993 Dodge Dakota with the 318 tow package and 4 wheel drive. I wrote in some time ago and asked you all about a u-joint issue. Well after looking at the transmission mount and seeing how badly it had been crushed it was obvious that the tranny was rubbing on the cross members and making it hard to shift and also making a lot of noise. I went to AutoZone, Oreilly, and Advance Auto Stores and all of them showed me a replacement after market that does not have the additional bolt holes for the bolts that mount the upper bracket and they wont fit correctly. These mounts averaged about 25 bucks. The only true replacment is from Chrysler and its 71 bucks. But its worth it as all my problems have been solved and wanted to share my findings with all of you in case you ran into this as well.

Default RE: Transmission mount

Thanks for coming back and letting us know this solved your problem.
I should probably fix some of these problems sometime ().
How difficult was it (how much time did it take you)?
