Default drivetrain swap

Hey All,
I've got an 1989 automatic and an 1988 5-speed. The body on the 89 is decent (bad tranny) as is the 88 drivetrain. Is it possiblt to move the 88 stick to the 89 body and not have a great deal of customizing to mount the clutch components?
Thanks
Mike

If you've never done anythig like that before; my advice to you is to take some good digital pics of the areas where you'll be doing the work. That way if you get stuck you'll have something to refer back to. Also before you start, I can't say this enough: measure, measure, measure...
Hope it helps.

Seeing you have both trucks I can not see a problem. Finding referents pionts to make a template for the hole can be fun. The tabs on the plug that goes in the hole are the most important pionts. the rest of the hole is ragid.
