temp gauge

Default temp gauge

ok i dont get it my temp gauge stoped working but it ohms out fine and all the wires are connected. I stoped to get gas and when i started it back up it hit the bottem and stayed there any one have a clue whats going on i cant fine anything saying theres a fuse for it so i'm kind of stumped

sorry forgot 2 add 93 5 speed 3.9L 2x4 standered i'm thinking of rewire it but i dont want to tear the dash out

Have you checked the sending unit on the motor? Also, When I was retracing the wiring in mine, I found the block connection from under the hood into the firewall was WAY corroded... I used some CRC electrical cleaner and then greased it with di-electric grease. Also, someone told me that the connections going into the cluster need to be unplugged and replugged to help the connection.

I've tried to put a new coolant tem sensor in, but mine still doesnt work. I dont really care. as long as I get heat I'm happy.

Remember, the sensor that controls the gauge is to the right (pass. side) of the upper hose. It has a single-wire connector.

ya, the one on the front of the motor by the top rad hose is the one I replaced. do we have 2 of them?
