Front coil springs different?
I am looking at lifting mine a little until I can get a chance to rebuild my axles to change it over to 4x4...
90 4X2 3.9 auto
Is there a difference between the front coil springs on the V6 and the V8 trucks? I am wanting to change mine out to gain a bit of height and I think it would be a pretty easy thing to do. Any of the newer years the same? My frontend sits a lot lower than the rear and I am going to change the rear to an SPOA set-up and want to gain about 3 to 4 inches in the front.
I have seen the part numbers for the V6's are all same as far as I looked (upto 96) I am hoping that with the heavier V8's they would have changed the springs to make up for it and it will raie the front of my truck a couple of inches.
