1993 dodge 3.9 gas gauge not working please help?
I was wanting to know if anyone knows what the color of the wires are that make the gas gauge work i am tired of running out of gas thank god it hasnt been cold kids were in the truck this time. I need the knowhow can anyone help i know it isnt the cluster thanks the dakota

The signal from the tank to the gauge is sent via adark blueand yellow wire, and the ground for the sending unit is provided via a gray or black (or black and white) wire.
If the connector on the fuel tank is a circle, the ground should be provided via the center wire.
Anyways... bad sending units are common on these trucks. I believe they do not sell a seperate fuel sending unit for your year, its integrated into the pump itself. Unless you want to spend the money on a new pump, you just need to start tracking how many miles you've put on since last fill-up.
