Default "anti theft device"

so I was out at the shop today and I got an idea. I was thinking on mounting a blinking LED on my dash, so people will think I have a security system in it. because in the summer some lil punk stole my cd player and ripped half my dash apart.

I already bolted my sub box to the back of the cab. and bolted my amp to the back of the cab with some steel strapping. and I also put some steel strapping from my cd player to my firewall so they cant take it.

so about this LED, does anybody know how I woud hook it up. cause I want one that will blink. and I'll just hook itup to a toggle switch or somethin.

I know it would probly be easier to just lock my doors, but my drivers door has been replace with one from a junkyard along time ago and I dont have a key for it. so every time I would have to open it up from the passenger side.

I figure, while I'm workin on my new cold air intake, I can install my LED at the same time

so I got it all done today. I just drilled a hole in the top of the dash and put the led in it. then ran it to a switch. now it looks like I got a security system in it

now tomorrows job will be to start workin on my cold air intake.
