ive tried flushing out everything seperate and then through the heatercore line with the radiator cap off and the water comes out fine but when running the water dosent flow how long does it take a 195 degree t- stat to open??????? im stuck if it is air locked how do you get the air out????????the 12 dollar t-stat has a hole in it with a little brass piece that moves up and down for air but should i drill another in it 1/16 hole???

 

to test your t-stat just boil some water and drop it in the stat should open right up since the water is already 212 degrees.
