Default 1993 Dakota 4 x4 front abs sensor

Hi, I have just had the ABS checked on my Dakota and as i expected the right front ABS sensor is broken. It has been this way for quite some time but now I would like to repair it. The dealer tells me the part is obselete and not available. I have tried several auto parts suppliers with no success.

Does anyone know if I can still get this part and if so where? Has anyone had any success repairing these sensors? The wire on mine is broken near the main sensor part at the caliper.

Thanks for your help!

If all thats wrong is the wire is broke, thats a simple fix. Probably the easiest would be to put a butt splice where the wire is broke.

As for if you actually need a new part, you can try a junk yard (however, four wheel ABS didn't seem like a popular add-on to the Dakotas. You can try makeitmopar.com as well.
