Code 36. Does anyone know what it may be??
I have a 1995 Dodge Dakota, 4x4 v8 5.2L Magnium. I have just replaced the O2 Sensor becuause it was shot, but now my check engine light comes on. When i read the codes it gives me a code 36, and then a 55, i know the 55 is the end of trouble codes. But can someone please tell me what the 36 could be?

Code 16 is Air Switch Soleniod. Description: An open or shorted condition detected in the air switching solenoid circuit.
On/nearthe right (passenger side) cylinder head cover, there (is probably) three solenoids in a row. If there are three solenoids, the air switching solenoid is in the middle. (Or, you can look at the vacuum diagram under the hood, it may be shown as ASRV solenoid.)
From the 1990 service manual (because 1996 does not have such a think), the power wire to the solenoid is dark blue (power provided via the battery) Ground is provided via the PCM, on a black/orange wire.

You said a Code 16, my the problem happens to be a code 36. Anyone have any sollutions of what to change, or the problem, what to ajust or fix to make it 100% again.
according to the haynes manual, code 36 is the air switching solenoid circuit, if you have a haynes book look at page 6-15 figure 7.7, looks like a group of 3 little solenoids with vaccum and electrical connections right by the tranny dipstick

Looked under the hood today, No air solinoid switching valve found, so my shop teacher adviesed me to check the codes again and try to look for the problem, but after getting another code 36, we just pulled the battery connections loose, and draned the computer power, now all good
Will report back in a few days to let you guys know how it is running. I hope this has fixed the problem cause it is very annoyin

Truck runs awsome now, better than when i bought it. Getting about 400 km/ 83Liters compared to 25km/ 83 L.
I think this is much better fuel ecconomy, can anyone tell me if it is good, or if it maybe still needs a few adjustments to make it run more efficient?

I find it hard to believe you were getting 25KM to every 83L of gas (that would be less than 1MPG), even 250KM for 83L (about 7MPG) seems amazingly low... perhaps you had some "help" for people stealing your gas?
Anyways... 400KM for 83L is about 11.3MPG, which is a little low, but depending on how you drive it, could be right on (thats what mine gets driving strictly city).

I have some bad neighbors and took care of my gas by installing a locking gas cap. But yes i drive it hard, like the speed.
It is fast, and i like to get it up to speed as fast as possible, so then she guzzels good
