88 dakota rear brakes sticking?
I'm really confused. First of all here is what I've done to it since I got it. When I brought it home the brake lines between the front proportioning valve and the load proportioning valve blew out because they were rusted through. So I replaced all of the rear lines from the front valve to the rear wheel cylinders including the rubber hose. I put all new drums, shoes, springs, adjusters, and wheel cylinders on it. Now when I drive it, it seems to be holding me back. For example, I was coming down a mountain/highway, and left off the gas and the truck slows down on it's own. When I get home the pass. side drum is extremely hot, drivers side is quite warm, front brakes are cool. So what is wrong with my truck? The only thing I can come up with is the load proportioning valve is sticking. If this sounds logical where can I get one of these?
thanks for any help in advance
