hi guys new here but not to dodges. i have a 89 dakota 4x4 3.9L and no o/d tranny #pk4713665 1280 2642 is this a500 series trans or the a 518? ok hooked snap-on scanner up and it said the o/d solinoid work with the switch on/off but the lock up solinoid just stays on .didnt drive with the scanner hooked up cause it was snowing out. thanks diehard dodge guy

 

I would say the A500 (42RH) as the A518 (46RH) was used behind the V8s.
