Default HVAC Controls Having Issues

Hey all,

I think I may have hooked the vacuum lines going to my HVAC controls incorrectly. Whenever I step on the gas, the vent selection goes from blowing in my face to blowing up at the windshield and down at my feet. When I let go of the gas, it moves back to the central position. Any ideas??

What you are experiancing is a "safety feature" which occurs when the HVAC system looses vaccum. (Its a "safety feature" so that, at the least, the system will still blow air at the windshield to prevent fogging up)
I've had this happen to me a few times when traveling on the highway with cruize on about 8 months ago, no problems since (or before...) than.
You have a vacuum leak somewhere
