I'm hoping to help my father get some pistons for the 1988 3.9 Dak. Are there any other choices for pistons out there besides the JE? I'm not looking for anything that can handle a lot of power, maybe at most 50 over stock. I'm sure that the stock pistons will do just fine, but it's terrible to find any parts for this model year of Dakota.
And besides the pistons, is there anything else that we should be looking into for rebuildling the engine? Just looking for some good stock parts at the moment by a company with a good reputation.
