I have a 93 3.9l v6 and time to time it don't start in park so i switch to neutral and i starts, the guy at autozone told me it's the neutral/bakeup safety switch so i bought it and can't find where it goes, he told me it would be down by the pedal, i looked and didn't see it, i also looked on the tranny and still can't find it, I'm don't normally work on vehicles so i don't know where a lot of things are, any help appreciated.

 

I believe the neutral safety swith is down on the steering column.

 

well i looked on the steering column and i didn't see it i've had switch for over a month now and have trying to find it with no luck but i will go outside right now and look again
