Default 3.9l v6

Howdy everyone. I am not exactly new to the forum.......But I have been doing some research and I am wondering if anyone out there has made any serious power from their 3.9. I know I know...put in a 318 and be done with it......but I would like to do something different. Essentially a 3.9 is a 318 - 2 cylinders. I know that you can modify a supercharger kit and all that jazz......I am just wondering if anyone on here has actually done some tweaking and found anything.

I have the holley TB, Edelbrock CAI, Catless-back exhaust, wires, plugs, etc. The power gain is not noticeable and/or worth the money.

92 dakota already has the bigger exhaust manifolds than 94 and later years. Going full dual exhaust will help some, moving the inlet air temperature sensor away from the intake and out where it measures cooler air all the time will fool the computer into putting in a bit more gas. That helps to minimize head cracking as well. A better air intake might help some as long but don't put too much money into that as the gain is not all that much.
Best way to get the feeling of torque during acceleration is a rear axle ratio change. You probably have the 3.5 if auto, 3.2 if stick. If 5 speed and 3.2, put in a 3.5. If auto and 3.5, put in a 3.9. Go suregrip or traklok at the same time if you don't have that already.
