Default Carrier bearing

Does anyone have experience replacing the carrier bearing on the first gen Dakotas? I replaced one many years ago on the father in laws 69 chevy but memory fades and I could use some refreshing on the procedure. I didn't even know that these Dakotas had a two piece driveshaft.

Make sure that the shop balances the driveshaft afterwards. The place I took mine to didn't and I had to live with vibration until I was able to take it back.
