why dont you just change the hub and brake rotor? that is what the lug bolts are on right?

Take off the rim, dismantle the brakes, (not to hard)
if the rotor doesnt move after that, take a screwdriver with the blunt end and hit it a couple times till it breaks loose and then if you have a hub that fits switch them for your 6 lug...

Anyone else?? im not sure if that is right termanology....

find yourself a good ford 9 inch for the rear and get a set of rotors for it from a speed shop

thats what I'd do if I didnt already have 5 lug

Im not 100% sure cause I havent done it myself yet, but I think you can take all the 5 lug stuff from an older Dakota. Get a set of front rotors and pads, a set of rear drums and shoes, and axles (87'-90') and then just swap them over to the newer truck. Ive been told this several times from different people that I trust in what they say. I will be doing this swap in the next 3 months or so and I will repost on this thread with a make-shift write up on the project.
