But they do not have that HERE in Canada > I bought this truck Brand new when I was a kid.and to this day it is my PRIDE and JOY. I talked to the local body shop and they are asking WAY to much to have it redone the money that was spent On my Wifes 300M was the money I was going to use to put my Truck back the way it was. Can a Guy Ever get a break ??? I miss it so. And does it BOOGIE 5.2 Litre fully loaded.I did put a Clarion System in it but still have the old deck to put back in I was very Picky when the installer was putting it in. I WAS THERE :P DON't Fool With Darc's Truck. btw If I can be of any help to other owners out there i would be more than happy to chat. I have not ever seen any others around, made me wonder. This Truck deserves to be Put back to the way it was . Ok I am going to the shop for a ride and to wash the dust off and fill her with Premium.Oh for other owners " did u all no there was a Update for the Tranmisson ?? mine was done and Breaks loose in second gear. oretty neat to see that lil bugger smoke both wheels and go sideways which never gets done Much :P only for the Non believers. My 4x4 sports Car...... I LOVE MY TRUCK !!!!!

that story made me sad...

hope you can get it back to original, its the stacks and the stepside that made em so special

Default 1992 Lil' Red Express Dakota

My late brother-in-law had one with the 318 Magnum. SWEEET truck, blew the doors off a BMW once in Illinois. Unfortunately, was T-Boned in Davenport Iowa and totally destroyed it. I'm sure it's sitting in a bone yard somewhere over there. Was an awesome truck, got it from Kreiger's in Muscatine Iowa. Now that I know how RARE the 92's were, wonder if I should go see if I can find it and rebuild it LOL.

I guess I am lucky, I bought a new 92 Dakota Li'l Red Dakota., it had the 5.2 Magnum
with Automatic, and it was faaasssst., I put lots of miles on it, and it began to stumble., so I opted for a replacment, crate motor 5.9 Magnum. Bouchillon Performance sold me the engine and said it was a direct replacement for the 5.2 Not So., After several local mechanics tried, but failed I was tempted to go to a carburetor., but Randy said , no., to bring it to him and he would get it fixed., and I did., all the way to Hannahan SC. after 6 weeks., Randy called and told me to come get the truck, he couldn't fix it., So I installed a single plane intake and 800 cfm Edelbrock Carb., It ran good, but was too much carb., and am now in the middle of installing a "mega squirt" after market electronic fuel injection.
