Default Ignition switch

Whats involved in changing the (key) ignition on a 1993 Dakota? Went to the store everything fine but when I went to start it after shopping, Nothing! plenty of lights and camera but no action. Key would turn but would not engage starter. Battery is fine and all lights and buzzers working fine. After 15-20 times of turning key it started. Drove it home and it will not turn over again. It is the switch. Is it easy or do I need to have it towed to a shop? Help!

It is easy but you will need security torque bits.

Those are Security Torx bits, mine are Lisle that came from the same NAPA my switch came from and it had instructions in the box
You are going to need a long shanked torx driver or at a pinch long handled allen keys to get the shroud off the steering column, the damn hole was too small to let me use my bitted screwdriver on my '91 :P
