Default Timing chain cover gasket 5.2L

I had a coolant leak and have found it to be the top left corner of the timing chain gasket. Problem is all the auto stores have rubber gaskets, and the one that came off the water pump was paper and The one on the timing cover is paper too, Theres no grooves for a rubber gasket to fit, but no one can even get a paper one! I dont want to buy the paper and cut it myself since its such a big gasket, did anyone else run into this issue?? need to get the truck back on the road asap, thanks

Did you try your local Dodge dealer? Napa has them too.

a felpro timing gasket set will include the timing chain cover, front crank seal, and water pump. consider replacing the timing chain/sprockets while the cover is off. a cloyes set is only about $40-50 and if its never been replaced, you'll be amazed at how worn out it is.

I have had similar issues with parts stores not carrying those gaskets. It really is a Chevy world out there.
