For real, step to it and post pics lol. I'm sick of the homemade (but VERY sturdy) box my brother made years ago that takes up over half my back seat. And its only got 12s in it that are older than the box lol but they still hit hard!

I have a truck box with handle and an easy plug in on the back holding a 12 inch sub. when ever i need the room (which is rarely) I take it out. i have it sitting on top of the seat behind the driver. I have the amp mounted under the passenger seat. it seams to be getting plenty of air.

heres what i did two 10 inch infinity box opening is 54" long by 16" height 5 inches in the front and 2 inches in the rear. With a jigsaw notched around the tranny hump in the middle. Now to do some tweaking and rattle removal and a bigger amp. Trying to figure out how to post a pic.

Box is a little rough looking but carpet will take care of it. 6 pack of bud helps too

I pulled the bottom rear seats & built a box to hold a lone 10" dual channel woofer, to keep it thin (same thickness as the stock seats) I ended up cutting out the top of the box and sealing the magnet flush with the exterior - 100w amp under the drivers seat powers it, CD changer's under the passenger seat.

I make the kids sit on loose cushions atop the sub box.

Thumps pretty decent and they haven't complained too much.

6x9s are mounted in place of the factory 4x7s (right under the power rear windows).

How do they sound as of now or at the end I'm doing somewhat the same but was int a nice loud clean sounding bass?

I have the same idea in mind for my 96. I'm going to run a single sub and mount my amp(s) on the opposite side.
