Default Electric fans w/ custom shroud

pulled the factory fan off at the beginning of winter when i lifted it (there is a thread on it); now that it's getting hot out need to put my electric fans on. I do a good amount of hauling so a shroud is a must. As you may have noticed there isn't a ton of room on the V8s so it gets a little interesting.
picked up some slim Taurus fans a while back. started with a sheet of aluminum that i cut and since i don't have any cool tools like a brake most work was done with a vice, torch and hammer.
now that i've done this from scratch once i could do it again much better and faster. i made a lot of mistakes and took way longer than needed..
here is me starting out

used caulking as sealant... don't think i'd do that again. at least not the same way (use a heat gun to cure faster. i don't care how much more fun a torch is)

Cool! It will work just fine.
I'll add to the FAQ2 for others.

Where did you place the thermostat? Or did you just get the probe one?
