Name: logan counterman
Age:started working on dakotas at age 14 and am now 16 year old.


specs:

91 dodge dakota le 4x4 body

73 chevy 3/4 ton chassis

3/4 ton dana 44 front and 14 bolt rear both with 4.10 gears

366 big block chevy If your wondering its a big blcok out of like a chevy 4000 series truck. Its not a hp motor its a torque hog!!! perfect for my truck.

brand-new rebuild by me and my dad
Th350 tranny with shift-kit and chrome cooling pan

NP 203 transfer case

and as for tires i'm looking at a set of turbine wheels

and looking to run 35-37 inch tires.

Looks good man. Props on being able to that kind of stuff at your age! Keep it up, and you'll do big things with vehicles! Custom is the way to go!

Very nice there bud, good work. Around where I live everyone is into jacked up trucks, thats why I am lowering mine, though keep it up.

Thanks guys . its coming along.. got my driving permit now so. its coming along faster and faster. going to my u pull it place for the frist time this week. can't wait......

yea i don't know if i hold you guys but i have to tell yous the deal i got on the tranny. its tci unit. 1,300 dollors new. me and my dad got it for 100$ converted it to 4x4 with the other tranny. and i bought a brand new torque converter for 70 bucks. so 190 with gaskets and extras and i got a sweet tranny....... will post pic tomarrow. transmissions in. and we started cutting the fire wall. ooo and painted the engine bay....

Heres a update


i got my permit so things are going to get done even faster. tock a little break to gatter more funds. but back to school --back to work.


We picked up a tc1 th350 tranny for 100 buck. which sell for 1300. so i think we made out on. converted it to 4x4 and bought a new troque converter for 70. can't bet the price.......

ok also lifted the front of the cab and started cutting the firewall.

and painted the engine bay....

and started cutting the fire wall back..


list of things that need to be done..

transfer csae installed
wiring the truck back together
finish steering. very little.
finsih and install new brakes.
mount the cab and bed for the final time.
and drive it and see whats next.

there a 98 % chance the family is moving down to north caralina in about a month. so that the dead line. dad said what doesn't run stays......
